I am writing this review after a month of using the service with Beautydaykorea! I was travelling to Seoul for the first time and was very confused which skin clinic to choose. Finding Kangwon and team was the best decision ever. The service and responsiveness was top notch, the clinic they took us to was very good and very professional. An Olive Young tour was also included in the Package. It’s been a month since I started using the recommended products tailored to my requirements and I can see a huge difference. My skin is a lot more glowy and hydrated! Would highly recommend going with BeautyDayKorea for their services.

I wish I had used them for other services as well such as Hair salon and color analysis, but I didn’t have time to fit that into my itinerary. Next time!

For the whole process, communication was great! I asked for information regarding a couple services and was emailed very timely! Booking was super easy. I ended up choosing the premium skincare package with a translator. I already knew some of my skin issues but going in depth helped me focus on other things I wasn’t sure about. The day of service, went super easy. The facial was great as well and relaxing! Will be recommending (:

I booked BDK for the skincare package and the styling package for myself and my mom.

From the get go, Kangwon communicated very well about the services and was responsive. We communicated via email and the explanation was in detailed of what to be expected on each service and addressed our concerns. I feel I did not have to worry of the unexpected because the discussion had included all details, the booking process (including payment) felt very seamless and easy.

I started with the styling package, which includes the colour analysis and make up lesson. The colour analysis was basically a discovery of new colours! I was more nervous for the make up session because I dont generally wear make up and really not great on it. She was very patient to show me how to apply my make up, checked my current make up bag and how to use them well (to Korean make up style, as i chose it). We went through a lot of options from foundation to colour selection and brushes/tools. The make up turned very natural. She also allowed me to record the session so i can try practice again later, and even helped me to record it. She was also very kind and hospitable to my mom who was waiting for me. Definitely would not mind to come back if i got a chance.

I also booked for skincare package with translator for myself and mom. I understood some degree of Korean. But Kangwon suggested to use a translator. I was worried about how complicated it will be as my mom doesnt really speak English or Korean. The process turns out to be very smooth and having the translator helped me to get most out of the consultation session.

We had previous beauty appointment that I organised myself because the facility is viral in instagram. Me and my mom both agreed the quality is so much better care with the team suggested by BDK. The team were very understanding and prompt to my mom’s needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the facial.

We also had our translator, Kate, who also took us for the Olive Young tour. We were shown many options and there were no pressure to purchase everything right away. The products recommended for us were not the most popular on the socials, but definitely ones that are popular by locals.

Definitely will recommend BDK for foreigners to skip all the headache of making beauty appointments booking and you can trust the quality of partnered beauticians!

Wearing Hanbok and getting make up in Seoul, Korea was very meaningful and not a regret at all.

Thanks to Kangwon and team we had an excellent first day in Seoul getting our personal colour analysis and skin diagnosis and facial done. We would’ve been lost if he had to do this ourselves. The translation service was perfect as well. I would recommend using Beauty Day Korea for all your beauty needs because of their great knowledge and contacts. For a first time visitor the city is too daunting to manoeuvre around, let alone finding reputable businesses and services. We were very pleased with the treatments we had done and in hindsight, we should have booked more. Never mind, there’s always next time!

I first saw this service on Instagram, and reached out because I had no idea where to begin with beauty appointments. K was fantastic to communicate with, even suggesting how to arrange appointments and nearby sights to see. I ended up booking 3 services through Beauty Day Korea, and I highly recommend them all.

You first decide all the things you want and then pay for it up front via PayPal or similar money payment. At this point my fingers were crossed that Beauty Day Korea was a legit business. (Don’t worry it totally is!).

I started out with a styling package of a color analysis and makeup lesson. While my clothes were safe after the analysis, about half my makeup didn’t match my color analysis. The make up artist also taught me how to apply an everyday Korean look (she let me choose what makeup look) and suggested products for things I didn’t own or needed to replace. I really liked this because it’s hard to find make up and make up artists in the US who understand Asian faces and styles.

The second appointment was a private Korean scrubbing. If you haven’t done this before, it’s a must! Your skin is so smooth and soft afterward. I also loved that is 1:1 as I’m not entirely comfortable going full nude at the spa. The lady was very sweet and even searched the entire room when the backing of my earrings came out (this was my bad, I should have taken them out earlier and even did the same to myself while I was getting redressed).

Lastly, I did the skincare package. K met me at the station and we walked to the aesthetician. The translation was great and I appreciated the level of detail in the explanation of the skin analysis and skin care product recommendation.

Overall, this team provides a far better selection of services than I would have ever been able to do on my own! This was an amazing addition to my trip itinerary.

I booked the skincare treatment and body massage program. After filling out the form, the communication via email was kind and professional. Any and all questions are answered, so that the further booking process can go smoothly.

For the Skincare treatment, I added their accompanying/translating service per recommendation, and it was definitely the right call. I had the pleasure of meeting Kangwon, she is very kind and warm, it felt like I met up with a friend. Please treat her well! 🙂 After the treatment she competently showed me products that would suit my skin as recommended by the esthetician, and I think I got most of them later that day and used them since without regrets.

For the body massage program I decided to go alone, the staff is very kind and my esthetician made sure to melt all the knots in my muscles and tissue away with their skillful hands.

If I get the chance again, I will definitely book services through beauty day korea again and recommend it to friends who might want to visit Seoul, too. <3
